What People Say

Most Liked

Patrons rave about the substantial portions, ensuring no one leaves hungry. The turkey bacon avocado sandwich is a standout favorite, celebrated for its crispy bacon and creamy avocado complementing the juicy turkey. The inviting atmosphere and friendly service also make it a hit.

Another crowd-pleaser is the broccoli cheddar soup, which many say is rich and velvety. A locally made potato salad surprises diners with its refreshing cucumber twist, adding a unique touch to a traditional side. Many love how quick the service is, allowing for a hassle-free lunch experience even during peak hours.

Most Disliked

Some diners mention that the seating can feel slightly cramped during busy hours, especially at lunch. Although the food comes quickly, a few customers found the lines could be a bit long, especially on popular days. That said, the staff works hard to keep things moving.

Additionally, while many enjoy the cozy atmosphere, others prefer a bit more space to stretch out or a quieter spot. A few wish for extended hours on weekends to accommodate late brunch seekers. Yet, these minor inconveniences don't seem to deter the overall experience or food quality at The Sandwich Shoppe.

🥪✨ A Hidden Lunch Gem in the Heart of Gallatin! Tucked across from the new courthouse at 134 E Main Street, The Sandwich Shoppe has been quietly winning hearts since late 2024. Family-owned and full of flavor, it’s the brainchild of Tracy Sayles—whose husband serves as a local firefighter and whose whole crew brings warmth with every order. 🎤 I got to chat with Tracy while grabbing my go-to French Dip (plus pasta salad + sweet tea 👌). The sandwich? Tender, flavorful, and exactly what comfort food dreams are made of. And the vibe? Think friendly faces, fast service, and community love. Tracy even shouted out fellow local favorite Martin’s chicken and waffles. 💬 Final Bite: The Sandwich Shoppe isn’t just lunch—it’s a whole mood. Come for the food, stay for the people.

I was so excited to finally get the chance to try this place out and they did not disappoint in the slightest! The whole restaurant was clean and had a delicious smell. The staff was super nice and extra patient with me as it was my first time there. I got the turkey avocado club and it was so amazing!! The bacon on that thing was thick cut and it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. If you get a chance this place is definitely worth the stop.

Loved this little sandwich shop on the square! I went right at lunch time (11:30am) and had no trouble getting my food ordered and brought to my table in a timely manner. I got the turkey, avocado 1/2 sandwich. It was loaded with meat and the avocado was perfect. The shop itself is simple but beautiful. Will definitely be back again soon!

**A Delightful Sandwich Experience in Downtown Gallatin** I recently had the pleasure of dining at the newly opened The Sandwich Shoppe in downtown Gallatin, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and friendliness by the owner and her family, which sets a lovely tone for your meal. We decided to try a variety of offerings: the half turkey bacon avocado sandwich paired with a cup of broccoli cheddar soup, and the half Italian sandwich accompanied by potato salad. Both choices were exceptional. The turkey bacon avocado sandwich was a standout with its robust, thick slices of bacon that added a savory dimension to the succulent turkey and creamy avocado. It was complemented perfectly by the broccoli cheddar soup, which was rich, velvety, and bursting with flavor. The Italian sandwich was a harmony of flavors, with just the right amount of seasoning that elevated its taste profile. The potato salad was a delightful side dish, providing a satisfying, creamy texture alongside our sandwiches. Overall, the friendly atmosphere, coupled with the delicious and thoughtfully crafted menu items, makes this sandwich shoppe a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to returning and exploring more of what their menu has to offer! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a delightful bite. You won't be disappointed!

So I’ve been meaning to try this place for what feels like years (okay, maybe just a few weeks), and today was finally the day. I quite literally rolled out of bed, hair looking like I fought a raccoon in my sleep, and stumbled in like I had been summoned by the sandwich gods themselves. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and potato salad, and let me just say — the sandwich? Slapped. Like, I’m still thinking about it. And the potato salad? Had cucumber in it. Cucumber! Who knew that was the secret ingredient to turning potato salad into a refreshing summer spa treatment for your mouth? The staff were super friendly — and not to be shallow, but they were also attractive enough that I almost forgot how to speak when I ordered. 10/10 would embarrass myself again. I’m definitely coming back. There’s a whole menu left to fall in love with. And maybe next time I’ll brush my hair. Maybe.

Food is delicious. Especially the French dip. Call ahead, if they say they have smoked gouda and red pepper soup, drop what you're doing and RUN there. All the other soups are good, too. But man, that smoked gouda red pepper 😩

My wife and I recently had lunch here. She had the turkey bacon avocado with tomato basil soup and I had the club with a pasta salad. Everything was very good. The bread was delicious, the extra thick bacon was excellent, and we both enjoyed our sides. The staff was also very nice. We will be back for sure!
